MorningStars
Nothing contributes to the development of the individual or enhances the quality of community life like the performing arts. With that philosophy as our starting point, MORNINGSTARS was formed to provide a creative outlet and a healthy learning environment for upcoming generations.

13 week semesters in the fall and spring introduced children as young as five years old to the collaborative nature and unique language of the performing arts. Weekly classes engage students in creative dramatics, improvisation, stage movement and pantomime, as well as speech, diction, music and choreography.

What’s more, MORNINGSTARS are required to participate in all areas of theatre production including building/painting scenery, creating props and costumes, using makeup and operating technical elements of lighting and sound (both recorded and live.)  Advanced classes design, build and run all the elements of their own productions.

Open auditions for summer and winter MORNINGSTARS productions give newcomers an opportunity to try their wings on stage or backstage before committing to fall semesters of classes.

Best of all,  MorningStars is a publicly owned, not-for-profit organization offering special benefits to annual members.
